The Big thinking website is a hub of information about Big Lottery Fund’s 2008 public consultation, known as Big thinking.
Registering with the website allows you to upload videos to the website, complete the consultation survey and communicate with other users. To ensure that all submitted material and posts are appropriate for all audiences, profiles, uploaded videos and discussion forum and blog postings will be subject to moderation.
By submitting content to the website or to the blog/forum you grant the Big Lottery Fund royalty-free and irrevocable permission to reproduce, and the right to download and print any material that you post.
If you break these terms and conditions, the moderator has the right to remove part or all of your submitted material or posts without warning. If you repeatedly breach these terms and conditions, you may be permanently prevented from registering, logging in and/or posting and have your account deleted.
2. About the website

- Please be patient: People of all abilities may be using this website;
- Please do not use block capitals. This is the online equivalent of shouting and may cause offence;
- No spamming or off-topic material: Please make sure that your comments are on-topic, relevant. Please also avoid being repetitive
- Advertising and promotion is strictly forbidden;
- Contributions must be posted in English only (or Welsh where applicable);
- You are not allowed to impersonate people or other users: and you must not invade someone’s privacy. Do not post anyone’s personal details without their permission;
- Usernames that are offensive or contain profanities will be instantly deleted; and
- URLs (web site addresses) can only be posted if relevant and approved by the moderator.
